Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga suffered a sprained MCL on Sunday and is expected to be out 3-4 weeks, ESPN reported Monday.
Maualuga was injured while trying to tackle the New York Jets’ Chris Ivory.
Besides the knee injury, Maualuga also sustained a concussion.
Maualuga, 26, is the team’s second-leading tackler with 51 tackles this season.
The Bengals (6-2) play the Miami Dolphins (3-4) on Thursday night.
