Alabama starting strong safety Vinnie Sunseri injured his left knee in Saturday’s victory over Arkansas, and officials fear he could be out for the rest of the season.
Sunseri was scheduled to undergo further tests on Sunday, and there was no update on the results of those tests as of Sunday evening.
But Alabama coach Nick Saban said after the game that the injury could be serious.
Sunseri was hurt while covering a kickoff. He has returned two interceptions for touchdowns this season.
