New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Monday that running back Brandon Jacobs has a hamstring injury.

Jacobs, filling in for the injured David Wilson, had 22 carries for 106 yards with two touchdowns in last Thursday’s loss to the Chicago Bears.

It is not clear when Jacobs was hurt, but Coughlin said he is expected to practice this Thursday. The 0-6 Giants take on the visiting Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 21.
