Atlanta Hawks guard John Jenkins will miss two games with back discomfort.
“Jenkins received an MRI and examination yesterday by Dr. Michael Bernot at Peachtree Orthopedics in Atlanta,” the Hawks announced Tuesday. “The results confirmed his low back muscle pain. He is listed as day-to-day and his status will be updated as appropriate.”
Jenkins, 22, was a first-round pick out of Vanderbilt in 2012.
He averaged 6.1 points in 61 games as a rookie.
