USC wide receiver Marqise Lee suffered a bone bruise at Friday’s practice and is day-to-day, a big relief for Trojan fans worried that their standout offensive threat had suffered a serious injury.
Lee left practice holding his right shoulder, but X-Rays on Saturday were negative. Last season’s Biletnikoff Award winner is day-to-day, coach Lane Kiffin said in public reports.
The Pac-12’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year is coming off a sophomore campaign that saw him catch 118 passes for 1,721 yards and 14 touchdowns.
