Cornerback Tyler Patmon, who started 12 games for Kansas last season, has transferred within the Big 12 to Oklahoma State, Oklahoma state announced Monday.

Because Patmon graduated from Kansas in May, he is eligible to play for the Cowboys in 2013 without having to sit out a year.

Patmon started 28 of the 35 games he played for Kansas. In 2012, he tied for the team lead in interceptions with three and was fourth in tackles with 58.
