The Chicago Bears announced Monday that they terminated the contract of vested veteran defensive tackle Andre Fluellen.
Fluellen, a 6-foot-2, 302-pounder, has played 56 NFL games, including six starts in five seasons with the Detroit Lions (2008-12) and Miami Dolphins (2012). He has 52 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
The Bears signed Fluellen on April 9.
