Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau laughed off the latest Derrick Rose rumor, when he shot down a HoopsWorld report that said his star would suit up for Game 3.
The story only said Rose would suit up, not play.
“What report? I didn’t see it,” Thibodeau told reporters Wednesday. “You guys floating it out there? Nothing has changed with him.”
Rose participated in Wednesday’s shootaround, and did his normal game-day routine. He’s already said twice in the past week that he won’t play until he feels recovered from the surgically-repaired anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The Miami Heat and Bulls are tied heading into Friday’s Game 3, but the Bulls are endured a 115-78 drubbing in Game 2.
