INDIANAPOLIS — A torn labrum in his right shoulder will require surgery after the Scouting Combine, but Alabama junior cornerback Dee Milliner is in Indianapolis and will participate in most drills including the 40-yard dash.
Tony Fleming of Impact Sports, who represents Milliner, told ESPN, “The doctors have informed us that he will be 100 percent and fully recovered in time for training camp in July. We will be providing all NFL clubs information prior to surgery and updates close to the draft.”
Milliner, who is ranked as the top cornerback and fifth overall player in NFLDraftScout.com’s rankings, played his final season at Alabama with the injury.
For obvious reasons, he won’t do the bench press at the event and will also be unavailable for the Crimson Tide’s Pro Day March 13.
