The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they re-signed quarterback Michael Vick to a one-year contract.
ESPN reported that Vick could earn as much as $10 million in the deal.
The new contract replaces the long-term deal he signed with the team in 2011 that would have paid him $15.5 million this year. Now, he will be a free agent in 2014.
New Eagles coach Chip Kelly is scheduled to have a news conference on Tuesday.
Vick, who will be 33 before the season begins, threw for 2,362 yards with 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 10 games in 2012.
