Jon Condo – Important – Transaction
LS Jon Condo was signed by the Falcons Tuesday (Dec. 4). His contract had been terminated by the Sept. 1. Condo became an unrestricted free agent in March with the Raiders and hasn’t been with another team all year. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys following the 2005 draft and also spent time with the New England Patriots. He has posted 45 special teams tackles during his career.
Josh Harris – Important – Injury – Transaction
LS Josh Harris (hip) was placed on reserve/injured by the Falcons Tuesday (Dec. 4). While he would normally eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and playing in eight weeks, the first game he would be available would be the Super Bowl. Harris played in 11 games this season, snapping and blocking for kicker Matt Bryant and punter Matt Bosher. In his seven seasons in Atlanta, Harris has played in 107 games for the team and totaled 18 total tackles.
Justin Zimmer – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT Justin Zimmer was signed by the Falcons from their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 4). Zimmer was signed by the Falcons following the 2018 draft. He played in one game for the Falcons this season before being waived and signed to the team’s practice squad.
