The San Diego Chargers made two moves Wednesday, placing outside linebacker Antwan Barnes on injured reserve and re-signing guard-tackle Reggie Wells.
Barnes, who has a hamstring injury, played in 11 games this season and had three sacks. Two of those came in a Nov. 25 loss to Baltimore.
Wells will provide depth to the Chargers’ injury-plagued offensive line Sunday against Pittsburgh. He was with the Chargers (4-8) earlier this season but did not see action.
