Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey told reporters Monday that running back Maurice Jones-Drew will not play this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
Jones-Drew left after the Jaguars’ first offensive play of Sunday’s 26-23 overtime loss at the Oakland Raiders with an injured left foot.
The injury occurred after a 3-yard run. He was then carted off the field.
Mularkey said quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who injured his non-throwing (left) shoulder during the game, will likely play against the Packers. If he cannot go, Chad Henne will get the start. Henne replaced Gabbert on Sunday.
