Wide receiver Kenny Britt passed his physical and was activated from the physically unable to perform list, the Titans announced.
Britt tore his ACL and MCL last September and has since undergone three knee surgeries. He will not play in the team’s preseason finale against New Orleans on Thursday and can’t practice for three days, per the collective bargaining agreement.
The fourth-year receiver has 101 career catches, but has been plagued by injuries, off-field issues and ripped the team earlier this month for close to $10,000 in fines for missing a “mandatory scheduled appointment” with a team trainer.
He also met with commissioner Roger Goodell earlier this month for the second time in as many years and said he expects to be fined or suspended.
