Offensive lineman Logan Mankins made his first practice appearance this season during the New England Patriots’ light workout on Sunday, multiple media outlets reported.
Mankins, who is recovering from an anterior-cruciate ligament injury, participated in about half the session and watched the rest.
Linebacker Brandon Spikes and defensive lineman Ron Brace also returned after missing several practices.
However, tight end Rob Gronkowski did not participate in Sunday’s practice because of an unknown injury. He worked out on the side and was in street clothes for much of the practice.
