Andre Chachere – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Andre Chachere was signed by Lions the to the practice squad Wednesday (Nov. 21). He had been released by the Texans from the practice squad Tuesday. Chachere comes to the Lions after spending a portion of this season as a member of the Houston Texans’ practice squad. He originally entered the NFL in 2018 with Houston as an undrafted rookie free agent out of San Jose State.

Marcus Cooper – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Marcus Cooper was placed on waivers by the Bears Wednesday (Nov. 21) and assigned on waivers to the Lions Friday. Currently in his sixth NFL season, Cooper began the 2018 season with the Bears and appeared in two games. Prior to joining Chicago in 2017, he spent three seasons (2013-15) with the Kansas City Chiefs and one (2016) with the Arizona Cardinals. A seventh-round (252 overall) selection by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2013 draft out of Rutgers, Cooper has appeared in 71 career games (28 starts). His career totals include 145 tackles (136 solo), seven interceptions, 35 pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
