Roc Thomas – Noteworthy – Transaction
RB Roc Thomas was signed by the Vikings to their practice squad Friday (Nov. 9). He had been waived by the Vikings Wednesday. Thomas (5-10, 198) joins the Vikings practice squad after spending the first nine weeks of the 2018 season on the club’s active roster. Thomas was waived by the Vikings when the team signed RB Ameer Abdullah. The rookie from Jacksonville State originally signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 draft and was one of four undrafted rookies (Mike Boone, Holton Hill and Brandon Zylstra) to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. Thomas has appeared in five games this season for the Vikings and totaled eight carries for 30 yards, two receptions for 21 yards and one kickoff return for 20 yards.
