Denzel Rice – Important – Transaction
CB Denzel Rice was placed on waivers by the Browns Wednesday (Nov. 7). Rice appeared in eight games this season and recorded one interception and three special teams tackles.
Dez Bryant – Important
WR Dez Bryant agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed for the three-time Pro Bowl selection, who will sign the deal on Thursday. Bryant acknowledged the move by responding to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport’s report with the following tweet: “#ThrowuptheX” The 30-year-old Bryant, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April, had visited other teams in the offseason — including the Cleveland Browns in August. He joined fellow wideouts Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken in working out with the Saints on Tuesday.

Geneo Grissom – Noteworthy – Transaction
DE Geno Grissom was placed on waivers by the Patriots Wednesday (Nov. 7). Grissom, 26, was signed originally drafted by New England in the third round (97th overall) of the 2015 draft out of Oklahoma. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder has spent time on the practice squad and active roster over three-plus seasons with the team, playing in 37 regular-season games as a reserve and tallying seven tackles, one sack and seven special teams-tackles. Grissom has also appeared in six playoff contests as a reserve and posted two tackles, two sacks and two special-teams tackles.
