GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: Stanford’s run game has struggled all season, averaging just 93.1 yards per game and 3.29 yards per carry. But everyone has been able to look good on the ground against Oregon State, which is fifth-worst in FBS (274.6 yards per game) and allowed 332 rushing yards and four touchdowns against USC.
ROSTER REPORT:
–Oregon State has a trio of receivers (senior Timmy Hernandez, junior Trevon Bradford and sophomore Isaiah Hodgins) who have combined for 133 catches for 1,565 yards and 10 touchdowns). All three have at least 40 receptions, the first time the Beavers have had three 40-catch players in a season since 2013.
–QB Conor Blount, who suffered a concussion Oct. 6 against California, was cleared to play just before the start of the USC game. He could return to action against Stanford.
