Jerome Cunningham – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Jerome Cunningham was signed by the Lions to the practice squad Thursday (Nov. 1). He had been released by the Lions from the practice squad Wednesday. Cunningham returns to Detroit after originally joining the Lions practice squad in September. Prior to Detroit, his career includes previous stints with the Tennessee Titans (2016-18), New York Jets (2016) and New York Giants (2014-15). During the 2015 season, Cunningham appeared in nine games (three starts) with the Giants and recorded eight catches for 59 yards. He originally entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Giants out of Southern Connecticut State.
