GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: Louisville’s offensive line is facing its toughest challenge of the season so far, and that’s saying something because the Cardinals faced Alabama in the first game of the season. Louisville has struggled with defensive pressure in the center of the line and no team has a better front four than Clemson, all four of whom could be NFL First Round picks.
DRAFT SLANT
–OL Lukayus McNeil has the body that NFL teams are looking for. He’s a 6-foot-6, 318-pound senior who returned to Louisville after considering the NFL Draft last season. This season has been anything but impressive, however, as McNeil and Louisville’s OL have been inconsistent and unfocused. NFL teams will be watching to see how McNeil fares against Clemson’s fearsome front.
