S A.J. Howard was signed by the Giants to their practice squad Thursday (Oct. 25). He had been waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement by the Cardinals Sept. 7.
Corey Coleman – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Corey Coleman was signed by the Giants from their practice squad Thursday (Oct. 25). Coleman, 5-11 and 185 pounds, was the 15th overall selection in the 2016 draft by the Cleveland Browns. He played 19 games with 18 starts in two seasons for Cleveland, and caught 56 passes for 718 yards (12.8-yard avg.) and five touchdowns. On Aug. 5, Coleman was traded to the Buffalo Bills, who released him on Sept. 1. Ten days later, he signed with the New England Patriots, who waived him on Sept. 17. Coleman was on the Patriots’ practice squad from Sept. 20-29.
Tony Lippett – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Tony Lippett was signed by the Giants Thursday (Oct. 25). He had been waived by the Dolphins Sept. 1.
