KEY MATCHUP: Michigan State hasn’t always found it easy to score points in 2018, so it will be up to the Spartan defense to keep the Boilermakers from running away with it. If David Blough can continue his run of success with Rondale Moore and Isaac Zico in the passing game, it will be hard for the Spartans to stay in the game.

–RB D.J. Knox likely got some extra attention from NFL fans and scouts on Saturday thanks to his outstanding performance against Ohio State. He finished with 128 yards on 16 carries and had three touchdowns, including scoring runs of 42 and 40 yards.

–CB Kenneth Major has an upper-body injury. He will be limited in practice this week, and it’s unclear how much he will be able to play on Saturday.
–DT Lorenzo Neal will be limited in practice this week with a lower-body injury. He hopes to be available for the Michigan State game on Saturday.
–TE Cole Herdman was back in the lineup against Ohio State after spending time on the sideline with stingers. He finished with two catches for 36 yards.
