KEY MATCHUP: Washington quarterback Jake Browning has certainly been more accurate in his career — this season he has 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions — and Cal’s defense might be meeting him at the perfect time. Cal had two interceptions last week against Oregon State and sacked the quarterback seven times. In last season’s matchup, Justin Wilcox’s first as Cal’s head coach, Washington won 38-7 and Browning completed 27 of 40 passes for 215 yards, with two touchdowns and no picks.
