The Milwaukee Brewers placed right-hander Logan Henderson on the 15-day injured list on Friday due to elbow inflammation in his pitching arm.
The move is retroactive to Monday.
Henderson was slated to start Saturday’s game against the New York Mets. Instead, right-hander Tobias Myers was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to make the start.
Milwaukee also activated right-hander Shelby Miller (right forearm strain) from the injured list. He was acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks at the trade deadline. Miller, 34, was 3-3 with a 1.98 ERA in 37 appearances for Arizona.
Henderson, 23, is ranked No. 5 among Milwaukee prospects, according to MLB Pipeline. He is 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA in five starts.
Henderson was 10-4 with a 3.59 ERA in 16 appearances (15 starts) for Triple-A Nashville this season.
Myers, who turned 27 on Tuesday, is 1-1 with a 4.30 ERA in eight appearances (five starts) for the Brewers this season. At Nashville, he was 2-5 with a 3.77 ERA in 12 starts.
