Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic will have an MRI exam on Monday for a serious pectoral injury and Pro Bowl offensive lineman Brandon Scherff is out at least two weeks with a knee sprain, according to reports.

Bostic, 30, sustained the injury during Washington’s 34-30 road victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, NFL Network reported.

Bostic left the game with what was initially reported as a shoulder injury. He tallied six tackles to raise his season total to 22 through four starts.

He has recorded 559 tackles, 9.5 sacks and three interceptions in 106 games (81 starts) with the Chicago Bears (2013-14), New England Patriots (2015), Indianapolis Colts (2017), Pittsburgh Steelers (2018) and Washington. He posted 100-plus tackles in each of his first two seasons in the nation’s capital.

Scherff, 29, sprained his MCL in the first half against the Falcons, ESPN reported. Scherff is a four-time Pro Bowl selection, starting all 82 games he has played with Washington since the team selected him No. 5 overall in the 2015 draft. The guard is coming off his first All-Pro selection in 2020.

Further, cornerback Torry McTyer is out for the season after tearing his ACL in Atlanta, per ESPN. He played a season-high 29 snaps on defense vs. the Falcons, recording two passes defensed. He’s in his first season with Washington.

Also, tight end Logan Thomas is week-to-week with a hamstring injury. He has 12 catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
