Donald Louis Jr. – Noteworthy
SEPT 10 SUN BELT DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Donald Louis Jr., ULM (Jr., DE, Monroe, La.)…Junior defensive end Donald Louis Jr. recorded six tackles (five solos, one assist), with three resulting in losses (19 yards) including two sacks (15 yards), and forced a fumble in ULM’s 21-20 victory at Southern Miss. His six-yard sack on USM’s second possession produced a fumble that Sam Miller recovered in the end zone for a touchdown to tie the score at 7-7. The Warhawk defense posted seven tackles for loss (49 yards), including five sacks (36 yards), and forced four turnovers (two fumbles, two interceptions). Marcus Green – Noteworthy
OCT 8 SUN BELT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Marcus Green, ULM (Sr., WR, Pontotoc, Miss.)…Fifth-year senior Marcus Green returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of ULM’s loss at Ole Miss. It marked Green’s first career punt return for a TD and his fifth career kick return for a score (four kickoff returns and one punt return). He accounted for a season-high 198 all-purpose yards against the Rebels (seven receptions for 60 yards, three kickoff returns for 67 yards and one punt return for 71 yards). – Sun Belt Football
