RB Jalen Simmons was released from the practice squad by the Cardinals Monday (Oct. 15).
Maurice Smith – Noteworthy – Transaction
S Maurice Smith was placed on waivers by Dolphins the Monday (Oct. 15). Smith has played in 10 career games, all with the Dolphins, since entering the NFL as an undrafted college free agent on May 5, 2017. In 2018, Smith played in four games with three solo tackles and one pass defensed after he was promoted from the practice squad on Sept. 18. During his career, Smith has totaled four solo stops and two passes defensed.
Ryan Delaire – Noteworthy – Transaction
DE Ryan Delaire was placed on waivers by the 49ers Monday (Oct. 15). Delaire (6-4, 260) was promoted to the active roster on Oct. 6, 2018 from the team’s practice squad and appeared in last week’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
