The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired infielder/outfielder Kristopher Negron from the Seattle Mariners late Sunday night in exchange for minor league infielder Daniel Castro.
Negron, 33, appeared in nine games for the Mariners this year, batting .227 with one RBI in 22 at-bats. In 82 games with Triple-A Tacoma, he batted .310 with 12 homers and 61 RBIs.
Negron will be joining his fourth team across parts of six seasons in the majors.
Castro, 26, was hitting .241 with one homer and 11 RBIs in 45 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He has 98 career games in the majors across parts of three seasons, most recently hitting .174 with a homer and six RBIs in 18 games for the Colorado Rockies last season.
