The Detroit Lions are signing veteran defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs, NFL Network reported Friday.
The 25-year-old free agent played in 29 games (seven starts) with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2019-21.
A sixth-round draft pick out of Alabama in 2019, Buggs had 31 tackles and one quarterback hit with Pittsburgh.
Waived by the Steelers on Jan. 8, Buggs was signed to the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad during the playoffs.
