BY THE NUMBERS: 231 — Andre Roberts leads the NFL with 231 punt-return yards, and his 23.1 yards per return are second only to Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill, who has averaged 23.2 yards on his six returns. Roberts, a nine-year veteran of the Cardinals, Redskins, Lions and Falcons, is only 32 yards shy of his career high for punt-return yardage in a season, as he had 263 on 35 returns as a rookie with Arizona in 2010. Roberts had returns of 78 yards (for a touchdown) and 43 yards Week 1 against the Lions and a 51-yarder Sunday against the Broncos.

To put his numbers in perspective, the Jets had 171 punt-return yards all of last season, with a long of 25 from Kalif Raymond.
