PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Daniel Jones was back after missing just two games following a broken collarbone. He looked like he shook off any rust in a hurry in the Virginia Tech game, and has had two weeks since then before the next game. Jones threw two touchdown passes last year against Georgia Tech.

–RB Deon Jackson is considered the second option in Duke’s ground attack, but he tends to be productive. He has scored on a rushing play in three consecutive games. He has four total touchdowns this season.

–LB Ben Humphreys missed last year’s game against Georgia Tech because of an injury. In 2016, he made 10 stops against the Yellow Jackets. He’s coming off a season-low four-tackle outing against Virginia Tech.

–WR T.J. Rahming has 12 consecutive games with three or more catches. With 198 receptions in his career, the senior is on the verge of reaching the 200-catch mark.

SERIES HISTORY: Georgia Tech leads Duke 51-33-1, though Duke won last November by 43-20 at home.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “The optics of it are similar. You understand this is a different team.” — QB Daniel Jones, whose team went 4-0 for the second year in a row before losing the fifth game. Last year, that turned into a six-game losing streak for Duke.
