Tyler Lancaster – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT Tyler Lancaster was signed by the Packers from their practice squad Saturday (Oct. 6). Lancaster, a 6-foot-3, 313-pound rookie, was originally signed by the Packers out of Northwestern on May 4. After being released on Sept 2, he was signed to Green Bay’s practice squad on Sept. 3.
Aaron Rodgers – Noteworthy
QB Aaron Rodgers completed 32 of 52 pass attempts for 442 yards and three touchdowns, but the first-half hole the Packers dug was too deep for him to overcome.
Special teams miscues and two fumbles by Rodgers doomed the Packers, who lost for the third straight time to the Lions for the first time since the 1990-1991 seasons.
Mason Crosby – Noteworthy
PK Mason Crosby had the worst day of his career — and perhaps the worst day any kicker has ever had. Crosby missed four field-goal attempts and one extra-point attempt.
