Cre’Von LeBlanc – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Cre’Von LeBlanc was signed by the Lions from their practice squad Saturday (Oct. 6). LeBlanc came to Detroit as a member of the practice squad earlier this season following a two-year stint with the Chicago Bears (2016-17). He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the New England Patriots in 2016 out of Florida Atlantic.
Dee Virgin – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Dee Virgin was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Saturday (Oct. 6). Virgin returns to Detroit after originally joining the Lions via waivers from the Houston Texans on September 2. He appeared in three of the Lions’ first four games this season, where he recorded one special teams tackle. He had been waived by the Lions Tuesday.
LeGarrette Blount – Noteworthy
RB LeGarrette Blount scored two touchdowns Sunday.
Matthew Stafford – Noteworthy
QB Matthew Stafford finished an efficient 14 of 26 for 183 yards and two touchdowns.
He put the Lions up 24-0 when he fired a laser, which Marvin Jones corralled as he was tumbling out the back of the end zone.
