GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Saturday’s game will feature a clash between Missouri’s prolific passing offense and South Carolina’s stifling pass defense. The Tigers rank seventh in the FBS in passing yards per game, averaging 347, while the Gamecocks rank 11th in the country in pass defense, allowing 159.5 passing yards per game. Lock has thrown just two interceptions this season, and has amassed at least 200 yards passing in 14-consectuve games.

DRAFT SLANT

–QB Drew Lock snapped a streak of 13 conesecutive games with a touchdown pass in a 43-29 loss to Georgia on Sept. 22. Lock completed 23 of 48 passes for 221 yards and an interception, but rushed five times for 22 yards and a touchdown.

ROSTER REPORT:

–WR Emanuel Hall has been nursing a lingering groin injury and was limited in practice participation during last week’s bye, but is expected to be game-ready Saturday.

–WR Nate Brown has also been dealing with a pulled groin, but Odom said Tuesday he expects Brown will play Saturday.

–WR Richaud Floyd has not played this season after breaking his leg during fall camp, but has been running and participating in limited practice reps for two weeks. Odom indicated Tuesday that Floyd is still not “game-speed ready” but also said that if that progresses throughout the week, he could potentially take the field Saturday against South Carolina.

–DT Rashad Brandon has been away from team activities for three weeks while dealing with what Odom described as “personal matters” but rejoined the team this week and is expected to be available Saturday.
