GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: The Georgia Tech offense had an awakening last week against a poor Bowling Green team. The defense will need a similar occurrence this week against a Louisville offense that ranks last in the ACC in scoring. The Cardinals average only 18.4 points, have struggled to run the ball (averaging 120 yards per game, next to the bottom in the ACC) and throw the ball (averaging 191.6 yards, 12th in the ACC). It will be an opportunity for the defensive line to continue to show its growth, particularly ends Anree Saint-Amour and Des Branch. Their increased pressure can make things easier in the secondary for a young group of defensive backs.
DRAFT SLANT
–LG Parker Braun, a junior, continues to anchor the offensive line that helps the Yellow Jackets lead the ACC with 339.2 yards rushing. Braun was first-team All-ACC as a sophomore and a preseason All-ACC pick in August.
