Chicago Bears player notes for Sep 27th, 2018

Anthony Miller – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Anthony Miller (shoulder) suffered a dislocated shoulder against Arizona and did not practice Wednesday. It’s unlikely he’ll play this week.

DeAndre Houston-Carson – Noteworthy – Injury
DB DeAndre Houston-Carson (back, forearm) went through a full practice Wednesday for the first time since his preseason injuries and is expected to be available for Sunday’s game with Tampa Bay.

John Franklin III – Noteworthy – Transaction
DB John Franklin III signed with the Bears practice squad. A wide receiver for Florida Atlantic when he played college football, Franklin takes the practice squad spot vacated when the Bears let go of former CFL defensive back Jonathon Mincy.

Marcus Cooper – Noteworthy – Injury
CB Marcus Cooper (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday after a practice injury late last week kept him out of last Sunday’s game at Arizona. His status is uncertain for Sunday. Normally, Cooper would have been Amukamara’s replacement.

Prince Amukamara – Noteworthy – Injury
CB Prince Amukamara (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday’s game is uncertain after suffering an injury during last Sunday’s game. He’s being replaced by Bryce Callahan and Kevin Toliver.
