Report: K Lambo done for season with second IR stint

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo is headed back to injured reserve in a move that would end his season, NFL Network reported Monday.

Players can only return from IR once in a season.

Lambo on Sunday aggravated the gluteus medius muscle that sidelined him for a month earlier this season, per the report. He nailed a 59-yard field goal prior to the injury in the loss to the Houston Texans, but aggravated the injury attempting an onside kick late in the game.

Lambo is 5-of-5 on field goals and 8-of-10 on extra points this season. The Jaguars used four different kickers in his absence earlier this season.

He began his career with the then-San Diego Chargers (2015-16) before joining the Jags ahead of the 2017 season.

Lambo, who turns 30 later this month, is 128-of-144 on FGs and 138-of-152 on PATs for his career.
