Report: Washington WR Sims activated from IR

The Washington Football team reportedly activated wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. from injured reserve Saturday.

ESPN said Sims will be available for Sunday’s game against the visiting New York Giants.

The second-year wideout has been sidelined since aggravating a toe injury in a Week 3 loss at Cleveland. He was placed on IR on Oct. 9.

Sims, 23, has gained 201 all-purpose yards in three games this season, including 103 yards on six receptions.

As an undrafted rookie in 2019, Sims caught 34 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 85 yards and a score and returned 32 kickoffs for 819 yards and a TD.
