GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: LSU T Saahdiq Charles vs. Tech DE Jaylon Ferguson. Ferguson is the Bulldogs career sack leader and the player most capable of getting to Joe Burrow and disrupting the Tigers passing game. Charles has been the most consistent player on an offensive line that has adapted to multiple personnel changes in the early going. It’ll be up to him to not only slow down Ferguson, but also help lead the way for a push that can get the running game rolling.
DRAFT SLANT
–CB Greedy Williams is projected as a first-round draft choice next April if he bypasses his final two seasons of eligibility. One of the primary reasons for his lofty ranking is his ability to make interceptions. He had six as a redshirt freshman last season and he has two this season, including one against Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham last Saturday.
