No. 12 North Carolina added a Dec. 11 home game against Western Carolina to its schedule on Monday.
The Tar Heels (1-0, 1-0 ACC) opened their season with a 31-6 victory over Syracuse on Sept. 12 in Chapel Hill, N.C. Their game against Charlotte, scheduled for Sept. 19, was canceled because of a COVID-19 quarantine among Charlotte’s offensive line.
North Carolina returns to action on Saturday at Boston College (2-0, 2-0).
Western Carolina, which competes in the Football Championship Subdivision, has not played a game this season. The Catamounts are scheduled to play at Liberty on Nov. 14.
