Washington Redskins player notes for Sep 18th, 2018


Adrian Peterson – Noteworthy
RB Adrian Peterson struggled in his second game with Washington. After gaining 96 yards in the opener, he was held to 20 yards on 11 carries. He also caught three passes for 30 yards.

Alex Smith – Noteworthy
QB Alex Smith completed 33 of 46 passes for 292 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Colts with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Chris Thompson – Noteworthy
RB Chris Thompson led the team with 13 catches for 92 yards on Sunday. In two games, Thompson has caught 19 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown.

D.J. Swearinger – Noteworthy
S D.J. Swearinger had two interceptions of Andrew Luck on Sunday.

Dustin Hopkins – Noteworthy
K Dustin Hopkins provided all of the offense in Sunday’s 21-9 loss to the Colts. He hit field goals of 49, 27 and 49 yards, while missing from 49 yards as well.

Rob Kelley – Noteworthy – Injury
RB Rob Kelley injured his toe Sunday and may need surgery, according to head coach Jay Gruden. He had one carry for one yard in Sunday’s loss.
