A fractured fibula will sideline starting Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt for up to six weeks, the school announced on Monday.
Hunt, a redshirt junior, was injured in the fourth quarter in Friday night’s 38-6 loss to Louisville.
Syracuse has seven games remaining and there is some doubt whether Hunt will play again this year.
In five games this season, Hunt has thrown for 978 yards, one touchdown with four interceptions. He has also rushed for 307 yards and six touchdowns.
