Falcons DT Davison agrees to three-year extension


Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Tyeler Davison agreed to a three-year extension, the team announced Sunday.

The deal is worth $12 million with $4.5 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports.

Davison had a career-high 55 tackles (four for loss) last season in his first campaign with the Falcons. He also had one sack and one fumble recovery in 16 games (12 starts).

The 27-year-old spent his first four seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He has 150 tackles (13 for loss), 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 77 career games (60 starts).
