Michigan WR Peoples-Jones declares for NFL draft


Michigan receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones announced Saturday that he is bypassing his senior season and entering the NFL draft.

Peoples-Jones announced his decision on Twitter.

“After much prayer and discussion, I have decided to forgo my senior season and will enter the 2020 draft!” Peoples-Jones said. “This has always been a lifelong dream of mine and I am excited for the new opportunities in store for me. God bless and go blue!”

Peoples-Jones caught 34 passes for 438 yards and six touchdowns this season. It was a drop from a sophomore campaign in which he had 47 receptions for 612 yards and eight scores. He had 22 grabs for 277 yards as a freshman.

In three seasons, Peoples-Jones also returned 89 punts for 743 yards (8.3 average) and two touchdowns.
