Florida State wide receiver Tre’Shaun Harrison placed his name in the NCAA transfer database, multiple outlets reported Thursday.
The 6-foot-2 sophomore ranks fourth on the Seminoles in receptions (27) and third in receiving yards (289) with two touchdowns in 10 games this season. He also has five kickoff returns for 99 yards.
The news comes only days after Mike Norvell officially took over as Florida State’s head coach. The Seminoles fired Willie Taggart last month.
Harrison was a four-star recruit for FSU in 2018 and was rated as the No. 2 overall player in the state of Washington by the 247 Sports Composite. He first committed to Taggart at Oregon before moving that commitment to Florida State when Taggart became the Seminoles head coach.
Harrison caught 10 passes for 66 yards and a touchdown as a 2018 freshman.
Florida State (6-6) concludes the season on Dec. 31 against Arizona State (7-5) in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
