Oregon State has officially welcomed former Southern California wideout Devon Williams to the family.
Williams, the No. 1-rated high school athlete in the 2018 recruiting class, will have three years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the rest of the 2019 season.
The 6-foot-4 Williams had four receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown, and also returned a blocked punt for a score as a Trojans freshman in 2018. His best game came at Oregon State with three catches for 77 yards and a TD.
He played in one game this season, catching one pass for 11 yards against Stanford on Sept. 7.
Rivals rated Williams the No. 1 athlete and 247Sports rated him the nation’s No. 6 wide receiver when he was a senior at Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, Calif.
