Oklahoma K Sutherland arrested on intoxication charge

Oklahoma kicker Calum Sutherland was arrested Saturday on a public intoxication charge.

The Sooners (3-0) had a bye this weekend.

According to public records, Sutherland, 19, was booked by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office at 4:46 a.m. Coach Lincoln Riley had not addressed the arrest as of Sunday morning.

Sutherland is a walk-on redshirt sophomore. He beat out Gabe Brkic for the starting kicking duties, and on the season, he has made all 23 extra point tries and two of his four field goal attempts.

The Sooners open their Big 12 schedule on Saturday when they host Texas Tech (2-1).
