Cleveland Cavaliers superstar forward LeBron James officially is considered as questionable to play in the team’s season opener against former Cavs’ star Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
James has been hobbled since sustaining an ankle injury after stepping on the foot of rookie forward Cedi Osman during practice on Sept. 27.
The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player participated in the morning shootaround on Tuesday, with a team spokesman saying James’ participation against the Celtics will be a game-time decision.
“Hopefully I can be Ready to get it going (Tuesday) night,” the 32-year-old James tweeted on Monday night.
