CHICAGO — The Golden State Warriors suffered a second straight regular-season loss for the first time in nearly two years, falling to the Chicago Bulls 94-87 Thursday night.

Jimmy Butler scored 22 points, and Bobby Portis scored 17 points and had 13 rebounds for the Bulls, who won for the fifth time in six games.

The Warriors (50-11) dropped their second straight game since losing Kevin Durant to a knee injury on Tuesday night.

The loss marked the first time since April 2015 that the Warriors dropped consecutive games in the regular season.
Golden State, which was led by Steph Curry’s 23 points, struggled to hit shots, especially from 3-point range, where the Warriors were 6 for 30 in the loss. Curry was 2 of 11 from long range, and Klay Thompson, who finished with 13 points, was 1 of 11 from beyond the arc.

Dwyane Wade, who scored 12 points, gave the Bulls an 88-85 lead with 2:16 remaining before Paul Zipser closed out a 7-0 run with a 3-point field goal as the shot clock expired that extended the lead to six points with just 1:41 to play.

Suns 120, Hornets 103

PHOENIX — Guard Devin Booker had 15 points and a season-high nine assists and forward Marquese Chriss added 17 points for the Suns, who shot a season-high 59.7 percent from the field.

Forward T.J. Warren had 16 points and eight rebounds and Eric Bledsoe had 14 points and seven assists for the Suns.

Kemba Walker had 26 points and eight assists and forward Marvin Williams had 19 points for the Hornets, who failed in an attempt to win a second straight game for the first time since Jan. 18-21, when they won three in a row.
